A young man appears in court for stabbing the father of his girlfriend. His name is Hamlet, his girlfriend is Ophelia, the victim is Polonius. Everything in this authentically staged trial of the «Hamlet case» is real. Well, almost everything: Hamlet, his mother Gertrude and Ophelia are played by actors. The members of the court however are judges, attorneys and lawyers in real life. The jury members are selected from the audience. «Please, Continue (Hamlet)» focuses on the mechanisms, rules and laws of contemporary jurisdiction, exempligratia Zurich. (esc)
