One Voice / Black Pot and Movement

The dancer and choreographer  Surjit Nongmeikapam  comes from the Indian province of Manipur near the border of Myanmar. He masters the Kathak, a classical Indian dance, as well as contemporary dance forms. His dense, expressive solo is a reflection on torture and on the trauma that can lead to a life-long bond between victim and torturer.
