Mama Rosin bring the music of the Mississippi delta from Lake Geneva to the shores of Lake Zurich: they play zydeco, the infectious accordion and washboard music of the French immigrants in Louisiana. Spiced up with electric guitar, banjo, violin and drums, the band creates its own rebellious groove. Zydeco-garage-punk-cajun rock with an occasional pinch of boogie-woogie might bring the idea across. Or in other words: Get up an’ dance! (ron)
