In her performance «Lullaby» the dancer Venuri Perera expresses, in poignant images, a mother’s despair inflicted by war and exile. In collaboration with video artist Nadya Perera and the Singhalese poet Kumari Kumaragamage, who performs her poems live on stage,the young performer has created a deeply touching piece on loss, remembrance and resilience.
